UWF: Leading in the AI Age

Artificial intelligence isn’t just changing technology—it’s transforming how we lead, make decisions and shape the future of our communities. On Friday, Nov. 7, the University of West Florida will host its inaugural Leadership in the Age of AI Conference, bringing together business, government and community leaders to explore how AI is reshaping leadership across every sector.

This free conference, held at the UWF Conference Center from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., represents a unique collaboration among the UWF Center for Cybersecurity, the Aylstock, Witkin, Kreis, and Overholtz Center for Leadership, and the Lewis Bear Jr. College of Business.

What to Expect

Attendees will gain practical insights into navigating the challenges and opportunities of integrating AI into leadership roles. The conference features a keynote presentation by Dr. Eman El-Sheikh, Associate Vice President of the UWF Center for Cybersecurity, who will discuss how leaders can leverage AI to enhance their impact and success.

A distinguished panel includes Lewis Bear Company CEO David Bear, Innisfree Hotels President and CEO Ted Ent, and attorney Doug Kreis, founding partner of Aylstock, Witkin, Kreis and Overholtz. President Diaz will also serve as a guest speaker.
