UWF men’s soccer makes Top 20

Press release: The University of West Florida men’s soccer team moved up in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America rankings on Tuesday, leaping eight spots to No. 17. With Gulf South Conference play beginning this weekend, West Florida remains perfect at 5-0 after most recently defeating University of Mobile on Monday and Spring Hill on Thursday. UWF is one of just eight in NCAA Division II teams that currently stands undefeated and untied.

West Florida is one of two GSC members ranked in the NSCAA DII poll, with Christian Brothers being the other at No. 10.

The Argonauts start GSC play this Friday, when it travels to Union (Tenn.) for a 7:15 p.m. game. UWF will stay in The Volunteer State until Sunday, when No. 17 West Florida clashes with No. 10 Christian Brothers on Sunday at 3 p.m.
