The State Attorney’s Office announced today that its review of the allegations involving Commissioner Gene Valentino and possible improper solicitation of campaign funds did the find the allegations sufficient to warrant further investigation. The allegations will be presented to the Escambia County Grand Jury for their consideration.
The SAO determined that no crime was committed regarding the bid process for the Maplewood Drainage Project.
