Buzz: Heard that Jeff Van Camp is filing for Santa Rosa Co. Sheriff tomorrow.

Van Camp developed the Escambia Co. Crimestoppers program into the one of the best in the country. He was removed from that position when he ran counter to the “good old boys” inside the McNesby clique.

Wendall Hall is a good sheriff, but Van Camp could give him a tough race.
