Varona closes

This morning Robert DeVarona met with the employees of Varona’s and told them that Varona’s Restaurant had closed as of Saturday, December 6. Mr. DeVarona expressed his thanks for the community for their support and to the employees for their hard work and dedication. The closing is a result of the economic conditions and the impact of the recession on dining out.

Varona’s at the Pensacola Airport will continue to serve travelers.

I hate to see this. The restaurant was beautiful and the menu was authentic Cuban.
