Visit Pensacola announces 2018-19 Grant Recipients

Pensacola, Fla. – Visit Pensacola is pleased to announce its 2018-19 grant recipients. Twice a year, Visit Pensacola allocates funds from its annual budget to a grant program for local groups and organizations that coordinate events or visitor experiences with a demonstrated history of visitor impact or significant potential to draw visitors to the area.

The Visit Pensacola grant program’s main purpose is to attract visitors while engaging the local community with more experiences. Visit Pensacola grant funds are intended to supplement the sponsoring organization’s budget and not be the sole source of funding and are provided as reimbursement for approved expenses.

“The Visit Pensacola grant program offers an incredible opportunity for our community,” Visit Pensacola President Steve Hayes said. “Events that otherwise might not happen we’re able to have a hand in, providing year-round experiences and events for residents and visitors to enjoy.”
