Visit Pensacola Calls for Festival and Event Promotional Support

Press Release:

Visit Pensacola, the tourism arm of the Greater Pensacola Chamber of Commerce announced today the availability of an application for Festival and Event Marketing and Promotional Support Request for events aimed at bringing substantial numbers of overnight visitors to Escambia County.

The application, which is available through Visit Pensacola, sets forth the guidelines and categories for requests for marketing and promotional support from Visit Pensacola, Escambia County’s destination marketing organization.
Qualified event organizers may submit an application for up to $15,000 in promotional support, which will be provided in the form of a campaign created and implemented by Visit Pensacola. There will be no funds distributed directly to events. This support is made possible through an annual allocation from the Escambia County Tourism Development Council.
Applications are available to be picked up at the Visit Pensacola Visitor Center, located at 1401 E. Gregory St., and must be submitted on or before Dec. 7 to Visit Pensacola’s vice president of tourism.
All events and festivals must meet the guidelines and criteria outlined in the application. All applications will be reviewed by a subcommittee of the Tourism Administration and Convention Committee (TACC).  Visit Pensacola will notify qualifying applicants who are selected to receive support by January 7.
