Visit Pensacola seeks grant requests for events

Do you need funding to promote an event in Escambia County? Visit Pensacola is now accepting grant applications for its event marketing program for events in Escambia County occurring between Oct. 1, 2023 – Sept. 30, 2024.  Visit Pensacola’s grant program aims to support marketing efforts for events with the history or potential to attract visitors overnight to increase tourism in the area and engage the local community with more dynamic experiences. Grant submissions are due by June 6 at noon and must be emailed or timestamped by drop off at the Visitor Information Center at 1401 E Gregory Street.

Grant workshops will be hosted at the dates and times below in the Bowden Building at 120 Church Street to aid the submission process. All grant applicants are required to attend one of the workshops.

April 4: 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
April 14: 8:30 – 9:30 a.m.
April 14: 3:30 – 4:30 p.m.
April 17: 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
April 17: 3:30 – 4:30 p.m.

The Visit Pensacola Grant Committee will meet to review and score applications on June 20 at 8:30 a.m. at the UWF Historic Trust Bowden Building, 1st Floor. Applicants are required to attend to present to the committee. Following, the Visit Pensacola Board of Directors will vote to approve grants on June 28 at the monthly board meeting.
