The Downtown Improvement Board (DIB) presents the 1st Annual Palafox Wine Walk, set for Saturday, February 1st from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm in Downtown Pensacola.
The Palafox Wine Walk is an exclusive, one of a kind experience allowing guests to sample newly released wines from boutique vendors while strolling between some of the best shops on Palafox. Participating retailers are within a short walk from each other and each guest will begin the Wine Walk at one of the locations.
“This intimate gathering will provide an opportunity for attendees to taste artfully crafted wines and learn about the regions and styles of winemaking,†said event creator and organizer Joe Abston, owner of Hopjacks Pizza Kitchen and Taproom, The Tin Cow and Pot Roast & Pinot.
In addition to tasting the variety of select wines, guests will also have the opportunity to preorder wines to be delivered to their home or office at a discounted price. Only 125 tickets will be sold for this inaugural event, in which the DIB looks forward to hosting quarterly.
