Wall South mementos stolen

war memorialFor years, visitors to Pensacola’s Wall South on Bayfront Parkway have left mementos to honor those who died in the Vietnam War. The Memorial Park Foundation has being storing the items in trailers at the VFW post on Lillian Highway.

Sometime between Sept. 23 night & Sept. 27, the 20-ft trailer was stolen. The trailer was packed with Vietnam War-era military equipment, war medals, and over 2000 poems and notes. Also the Foundation stored its $6000 sound system and chairs in the trailer.
