Warren Averett brings Hutto & Carver into the fold

Warren Averett, LLC, Certified Public Accountants and Advisors, announced this morning that CPA firm, Hutto & Carver, P.A., will join its Pensacola office. The joining of forces, effective June 1, 2016, offers clients expanded reach and resources, service solutions and a strengthened depth of expertise, with the same level of personal client service. Hutto & Carver, P.A. focuses their practice on providing audit and related services to the financial institution industry, with a primary credit union focus, currently serving more than 35 financial institutions across the Southeast, as well as the commercial construction and homebuilding industries.

Two individuals join the Firm as Members, along with nine other employees:

H. Sam Hutto, Jr., CPA joins as Member in Warren Averett’s audit division. Hutto brings more than 40 years of experience in audit and tax services to financial institutions and credit unions, including serving on the AICPA Credit Union Committee which assisted with the development and authoring of conforming changes to the Industry Audit Guide for Credit Unions published by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. His extensive knowledge of and experience with financial institutions enables Sam to provide a most effective combination of accounting and regulatory insight. Sam received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Southern Mississippi, holds a CPA license in three states and is a member of the American and Florida Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.

Ann B. Carver, CPA joins as Member in Warren Averett’s audit division. Carver brings more than 20 years of experience in audits of financial institutions and credit unions to include related pension plans, health and welfare plans, and student loan portfolios, as well as audit experience in the construction industry. Additionally, Ann is responsible for assessing the impact of new accounting literature, rules, and regulations on our credit union clients. Carver holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Southern Mississippi, holds a CPA license in three states and is a member of the American and Florida Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.
