The daily newspaper reports that Lost Key developer WCI Communities filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy Monday. WCI was one of the developers that the naysayers were pushing as an alternative to the Community Maritime Park proposal.
Imagine how much more screwed the development of the property across from City Hall would be had WCI gotten the contract.
The slogan for the CMP should “Please build it my lifetime.”
