WWL TV reporter Jaclyn Kelley let her NOLA Facebook fans know she is moving to Pensacola:
I have some very exciting news to share! I will be joining the WEAR-TV anchor team in Pensacola, Florida! Starting next month, I will be anchoring the evening, weeknight newscasts alongside Bob Solarski.
I am so incredibly thrilled about this next chapter in my life and the new leadership role I am about to take on, but leaving WWL-TV is bittersweet. Like so many, I fell in love with the Crescent City and feel so fortunate to have been able to call this amazing city home for two years. I have made friendships that will last a lifetime and I owe so much of my success to my amazing co-workers here at WWL-TV. You know who you are, I couldn’t have done it without you!
Last but not least, I want to thank our loyal viewers. Thank you for welcoming me into your homes every night with that charming Southern hospitality and allowing me to share your stories of strength and resilience. I will certainly miss my entire WWL family, but luckily I won’t be too far away! My last day will be this Friday, July 17th.
