HB 103 – Voyeurism: Prohibits secretly viewing, for specified purposes, either under or through clothing being worn by another person without that person’s knowledge or consent to view body of, or undergarments worn by, that person.
HB 105 – Homestead Assessments: Provides for decrease or no change in assessed value of homestead property under specified circumstances; provides for retroactive operation.
HB 141 – Annuity Contracts for Senior Consumers: Specifies annuity contract protection criteria for senior consumers.
HB 187 – Motor Vehicle Registration Fees (CO-SPONSORS Grimsley; Williams, A.): Revises fee charged for initial & renewal registration of certain automobiles & trucks & deposited into Transportation Disadvantaged Trust Fund.
HB 745 – Prepaid Services for Parents of Children with Developmental Disabilities: Creates Prepaid Services for Parents of Children with Developmental Disabilities Study Group to evaluate creation of prepaid service plan for children with disabilities; provides for membership; provides for organizational support; provides for duties of study group; provides for per diem & travel expenses for members; requires study group to present final report to Legislature.

Dave Murzin has two bills – focus is on limiting civil lawsuits
HB 493 – Licensure of Nursing Homes and Related Health Care Facilities: Provides condition for actions brought on behalf of nursing home residents under certain alternative theory of recovery; prohibits certain actions or admissions from being admitted as evidence in liability actions; requires evidentiary hearing to determine basis for punitive damages; provides conditions under which facility is not liable for failure to provide adequate staffing; prohibits records relating to state licensure inspection reports from introduction in civil proceeding against facility; permits person who provides certain information to state licensure inspector to provide certain testimony.
HB 495 – Negligence: Provides that if person slips & falls on transitory foreign substance in business establishment, injured person must prove that business establishment had actual or constructive knowledge of condition & should have taken action to remedy it; provides that constructive knowledge may be proven by circumstantial evidence; repeals provisions relating to duty to maintain premises & burden of proof in claims of negligence involving transitory foreign objects or substances.

HB 501 – Early Learning: Transfers powers, duties, & functions of early learning coalitions to Agency for Workforce Innovation; requires AWI to adopt schedule for transfers, subject to legislative notice & review; abolishes early learning coalitions upon transfer; requires AWI to reclaim state records, property, & funds from early learning coalitions; directs AWI to administer school readiness program & Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program; authorizes AWI to enter into contracts for administering programs; deletes or updates obsolete references to repealed early learning programs; provides conforming changes to transfers; abolishes Florida Early Learning Advisory Council; repeals subsidized child care program case management program & subsidized child care transportation program.
HB 515 – Oil and Gas Production Taxes: Provides for differential rates for oil production tax on tertiary oil adjusted for delivered price; exempts specified oil & gas production from tax for specified period; provides for future repeal of exemptions.
