What do you think about Veo scooters?

The City of Pensacola is evaluating whether to continue or discontinue the Veo electric scooter program in Downtown Pensacola. The program, which began in 2022, allows city residents and visitors to rent e-scooters and use them for transportation throughout the area.

The city’s contract with Veo will expire in October 2025, with its renewal depending largely on community feedback. Therefore, Pensacola Mayor D.C. Reeves is encouraging city residents to share their thoughts on whether the e-scooters are a valuable asset to the downtown experience or simply a hindrance. What do you think?

Here are the questions:

1. What zip code do you live in? (If you do NOT live in any of these zip codes, please do not fill out the survey.
2. Have you used a Veo motorized rental scooter in the past 6 months?
3. Do you believe the Veo Scooter Rental program in Downtown Pensacola creates a benefit for VISITORS?
4. Do you believe the Veo Scooter Rental program in Downtown Pensacola creates a benefit for RESIDENTS?
5. When you think of Veo rider behavior, what is a more common situation you’ve observed?
6. The contract with Veo Scooters is set to expire this fall. What would you prefer the city do?
7. If motorized scooters were not available, would you consider a non-motorized bicycle program a benefit for the City of Pensacola in the future?
