What does this mean for Pensacola City Council races

The Afro-American incumbents – Jewel Cannada-Wynn and Ron Townsend – are probably safe, although Townsend has a strong challenger. Mike Wiggins and Jack Nobles will have fights on their hands as the push for change catches hold city-wide.

Marty Donovan, Mike DeSorbo and PC Wu are also in for tough races. Wu may skate by because he hasn’t served as long as Donovan and DeSorbo.

Sam Hall appears safe because he has only served one term and he is seen as an agent for change in City Hall.
