What election fraud?

My May 12 Outtakes, “Fixing Elections,” focused on what I considered the changes to Florida’s Election laws–changes I believe had little to do with improving the process and were more about keeping the Republicans in power.

Here is an email received today:

Rick,
Thank you for your articles related to the election law changes made by the Florida Legislature. It is unfortunate there had been so little coverage of this issue locally. Many of us in the League of Women Voters had contacted our delegation members expressing our dismay with these changes.

My sole response was from the aide of Representative Ingram, stating that his support related to doing away with ‘voter fraud’. I responded asking for a source of voter fraud but it was not provided.

It seems there is not evidence of fraud and it makes one wonder if all of this is political.
