What I missed of the City Council workshop

PNJ’s Jamie Page had to sit through the entire Pensacola City Council workshop. In reading his article, “Council members leave budget meeting over bickering,” my blow-by-blow notes captured what happened well.

What I missed was Council President Maren Deweese’s PowerPoint presentation on the fire rescue units, which apparently she gave without handing over the gavel to another council person (A Roberts Rules of Order no-no). Page also writes that she called those who left the council meeting before her presentation “childish.”

Note: I do have a copyright on the name “Wackadoo.”
