Commissioner Jeff Bergosh reported on his blog that the $2 million budget for the construction of a pedestrian bridge that would connect the north side of 9-Mile Road to the south side at Beulah Middle School was vetoed.
PNJ’s Jim Little added that $1.9 million for student dorms at the University of Florida’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences West Florida Research and Education Center in Milton was also vetoed.
