When it rains, it pours: County Admin building loses power

Power Outage at County Administration Building

Friday, May 23, 2014 – 7:00am
A power outage in Downtown Pensacola this morning has impacted the Escambia County Administration building, 221 South Palafox Place. The building will remain open to the public, but until electric service is restored, only minimal services can be provided.

Crews from Gulf Power are working to address the issues with electric service in Downtown Pensacola.

Employees who work at the Administration Building are to report to their normal work stations.

The Escambia County Administration Building is home to the Board of County Commissioners, County Administration Staff, Escambia County Tax Collector, Escambia County Property Appraiser, Clerk of Court and the Supervisor of Elections.

MyEscambia.com will update the status of the building once an update becomes available.
