The Independent News felt that while we’re debating our county budget and whether or not we should consolidate both between constitutional officers and with the City of Pensacola that we should look at what we are paying our county employees.
And while some employees will be upset that their neighbors and co-workers now know what they make, it is public record. Also it’s information the public needs to know as we look at budget cuts.
