Who really owns the sand on the beach?

SRIA GM Buck Lee wants leaseholders to return the sand that’s blown on their property to the SRIA – SRIA takes up coarse issue. This brings up some interesting questions:

If sand from the beach covers your driveway or porch, is the SRIA responsible for sweeping it off?

If your property is damaged by sand, can you sue the SRIA?

If your child takes a pail of sand home, is he stealing from the SRIA?

Will SRIA GM Buck Lee set up check points to be sure beach goers aren’t hiding SRIA sand in their cars? You know a lot of sand can get caught inside a bathing suit.
