Who said what

Yesterday, I had County Commissioner Jeff Bergosh on “Real News.” He expects to receive a revised offer for OLF 8 from DR Horton and Stirling Properties this week, dispelling any rumors that the deal was dead. He said the offer will be less than the initial $42 million proposal because the county has “pulled back about 250 acres” for economic development and job creation.

Scott Satterwhite explains why he joined the PenAmerica lawsuit against the Escambia County School Board for its book banning.

“My son, as a high school student in the Escambia County School District, should have the right to check out any book that he feels like. And I’m bothered by other people making that decision for him – what books he can check out and what books he cannot check out.”
