We’ve posted the platforms and ideas of the other three candidates for Pensacola mayor. Here is what Mayor Mike Wiggins calls his “Plan of Action:”
* Economic Development & Job Creation I will make Pensacola THE city where business wants to do business.
* Nourish Our Existing Businesses 80% of new jobs are created by existing businesses. Helping Pensacola businesses succeed will be a top priority.
* Permitting Make Pensacola the city where permitting, licensing and fee payment is done in a fast, efficient manner.
* Customer Service Leading by example, I will put “service” back in public service and ensure that everyone at City Hall is responsive to the needs of our citizens.
* Code of Ethics Develop a code of ethics that Mayor, City Council and all city employees will abide by.
* Quality of Life Improve our parks & recreation facilities so that our neighborhoods offer the best quality of life for our citizens, visitors and prospective businesses.
* Ambassador As Mayor, it has been my honor to serve as an energetic ambassador for Pensacola to the state, region, nation and the world. I will continue to represent Pensacola with dignity and pride.
