Will PNJ shrink even more?

The Cincinnati Enquirer, another Gannett-owned paper, announced this past week that it’s considering a dramatic reduction in print paper size. If it follows through, it will be the third of its papers to shrink its paper size, following Monroe and Shreveport papers.

Will PNJ follow suit? As I predicted earlier, the daily adopted the worst-named promotion in the world, Deal Chicken, after we saw other Gannett papers launch it. I suspect the Romana Street number crunchers are figuring how small the paper can get and still hold the ad circulars and other inserts.
