Below freezing temperatures last night kept roads, bridges and overpasses throughout the County icy and dangerous for motorists. As temperatures warm during the day, conditions are expected to improve. Drivers should still exercise caution.
As roads and bridges reopen, information will be available on the County’s website, www.myescambia.com.
Pensacola International Airport has been closed to due to the winter weather. They are expected to resume operations at today at 11 a.m. Passengers are encouraged to check real-time flight information at flypensacola.com or check directly with their airline.
All County offices and schools remain closed today, but are expected to open for normal operations tomorrow, Friday, January 31.
