From Escambia County: Workforce Housing Community Meeting
The upcoming community discussion on 20 potential developments of workforce housing properties under the Florida Housing Finance Corporation’s 9 percent Housing Tax Credit Program is canceled. The meeting was originally scheduled for 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27 at the Escambia County Central Office Complex.
After discussion during the Oct. 19 Escambia County Board of County Commissioners meeting, the community discussion was postponed due to the state’s timetable, which does not allow sufficient time for project vetting by staff or public outreach and input.
