The Florida Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) at UWF, offers a workshop entitled â8(a) Mentor-Protégé Program and Joint Venturesâ on Wednesday, August 1st at two different times (see below) in Fort Walton Beach. This workshop is designed to enhance the capability of the 8(a) participants to compete more successfully for federal government contracts. The program encourages private-sector relationships and expands SBAâs efforts to identify and respond to the development needs of 8(a) clients. The presentation is offered by: Laura Subel, Procurement Specialist 595-0089 and presented by: Presenter: Kenneth Hamilton, SBA Jacksonville District Office.This workshop will cover the requirements of creating a mentor protégé agreement and review what should be contained in a joint venture application.
