World Of Beer Soft Opening Huge Success

The soft opening for downtown Pensacola’s newest nightspot World of Beer was a hit. Guests sampled an unbelievable assortment of tap and bottle beer from all over the world.

The look is open, but still has an intimate feel. The music was great–playing even a little Zac Brown–but not so loud that you couldn’t talk with the people around you. Another feature is that though the bar doesn’t have a kitchen, they let you order in food from surrounding restaurants like Ragtyme Grill, Happy Pig and Nacho Daddy’s.

This is a good addition to the Downtown Entertainment District that our newspaper has been fighting for and promoting since 2004. World of Beer will fit in well to the mix.

The bar is open tonight to Facebook users who have liked the bar’s Facebook page. Tomorrow it’s open to the world.
