WSRE: ‘George H.W. Bush: American Experience’ tonight

To mark the passing of former president George H.W. Bush, WSRE will broadcast “George H.W. Bush: American Experience” tonight at 7 p.m. The two-part documentary will air in its entirety from 7-10 p.m.

WSRE will also carry PBS NewsHour’s live coverage of the funeral on Wednesday, Dec. 5, beginning at 9 a.m. Coverage will include the departure ceremony at the U.S. Capitol, the arrival and funeral at Washington National Cathedral, and the departure ceremony at Joint Base Andrews.

This PBS NewsHour coverage will also be broadcast on the WSRE World channel, available over-the-air on channel 23.2 and via cable providers. The funeral coverage will preempt WSRE’s regularly scheduled PBS KIDS programming. Children’s programming will remain available on the WSRE PBS KIDS channel 23.4.
