It has been four days since we first reported that the Rolling Hills landfill was on fire. The residents are still battling the smoke from the facility. They are reporting to Inweekly that conditions have gotten worse in the past 24 hours.
Earlier this week, Escambia county officials reported the fire had bee contained and it posed no risk to surrounding homes.
