Azalea Cocktail Lounge is celebrating its iconic bartender’s 83rd birthday from 2-10 p.m. Saturday, March 14, at bar located at 810 N. Davis St. – which we assume is after the Z’s brunch.

“The lady, the legend, the beloved bar-queen Melba herself is turning 83 years young! Come one, come all, join us and pay tribute to Florida’s oldest bartender! Probably. Who even has time to fact-check something like that? Either way, with 45 years (!) behind the bar at the Z, Melba is a Pensacola icon!
“In addition to fine adult beverages, we’ll have FREE food, probably some cake, and all kinds of EXCITING surprises! Bill Murray might be there!* So bring yourself, bring your friends, heck, bring your ma and pa. It’s gonna be a good time.
“If you bring Melba a birthday card, there better be some cash in it.”
