Springdale took a very different approach to building its ballpark. The referendum only passed by 13 votes. Yet Mayor Jerre Van Hoose didn’t stop and the ballpark – Arvest Park – opened this April.
Springdale didn’t wait for the perfect master plan for the area around the ballpark. Only now have they started working developing the acreage around the park.
