WPNX
Pensacola is getting its own low-FM community radio station, 107.7 WPNX.
WPNX will operate under an FCC license and follow federal broadcasting requirements. Its signal is expected to reach roughly an 11-mile radius from its antenna and transmitter atop the Studer Community Institute building at 220 W. Garden St. Read “A New Voice on the Dial.”

WCOA PENSACOLA
I hosted “Real News with Rick Outzen” with Sena Maddison on WCOA 1370 AM in the mornings from Aug. 9, 2021 to Nov. 14, 2024, from 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
WCOA was unique because the City of Pensacola once owned it, and it broadcast from City Hall. “Real News with Rick Outzen” paid tribute to the station’s and Pensacola’s shared history. We had a special relationship with ABC News. Their reporters didn’t just offer sound bites; they engaged in conversations and became our friends.
