WCOA PENSACOLA
I hosted “Real News with Rick Outzen” with Sena Maddison on WCOA 1370 AM in the mornings from Aug. 9, 2021 to Nov. 14, 2024, from 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
WCOA is unique because it was owned by the City of Pensacola and broadcast from City Hall. For Sena and me, “Real News with Rick Outzen” was a tribute to the station’s and Pensacola’s shared history.
We had a special relationship with ABC News. Their reporters didn’t just offer sound bites; they engaged in conversations and became our friends.
