302 Million Dollar Questions

How much of the $302 million for ECUA project to relocate the Main Street Sewage Treatment plant will go to local contractors? Will out-of-town companies be required to use a percentage of local workers? Is there any set-aside for minority contractors? After all, local NAACP leader Elvin McCorvey is a board member.

Relocating the plant is huge – requiring that some of the money stay in this community amplifies the win to new heights.
