350‘s Climate Action Teach-In

Local environmentalists will meet Tuesday evening to discuss elements of the climate action plan recently outlined by President Barack Obama.

Last month, Obama announced a plan that places limits on greenhouse gas emissions from new and existing power plants, and also spoke of preparing coastal areas for rising sea levels and investing more in renewable energy.

350 Pensacola is hosting an ‘Obama Climate Action Plan Teach-in’ Tuesday. Presentations concerning the president’s plan will be made by Christian Wagley, Larry Chamblin and Elaine Sargent. A discussion will follow the presentations.

The forum begins at 7 p.m., inside the Bayview Senior Resource Center, 2000 E. Lloyd St., next to Bayview Park.
