Escambia County has 8 new COVID-19 cases – two are non-Florida residents. DOH Escambia entered 393 new test results –2% positive.
The UWF test site will be open until further notice – A mobile testing site at the University of West Florida is open to the public 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week. The drive-through test site is located at the SP2 parking lot, which is on the east side of campus, near the East Sports Complex. Individuals are asked to remain in their vehicles, and pre-screening is not required.

Beginning June 1, ECAT passengers will be encouraged to wear face masks. If a passenger does not have a face mask, one will be offered for free through the month of June.
Kitten Supplies for Pet Pantry Critically Low
The Pensacola Humane Society’s Pet Pantry is in dire need of donations, especially for kittens. Kitten season is in full swing, the demand is high, and the pantry is critically low on essential kitten supplies, such as kitten food, kitten formula, litter, bedding and other items.
The Pet Pantry provides dog and cat food, litter, and treats at no cost to pet owners who come to the shelter and present an acceptable form of identification, such as a driver’s license.
