BP contractor caught using illegals

News Herald reports: “Bay County sheriff’s deputies arrested as many as 11 people Wednesday — all but one of them thought to be illegal aliens — in a sweep at Panama City Marina, a staging area for contracted workers loading oil boom on boats.” Read more

My favorite line: “BP spokeswoman Vani Rao said it was unclear who hired the workers.”

What????
-Northwest Florida has high unemployment and the BP contractors aren’t using local labor?
-We had heard last week that BP contractors had been moved off NAS Pensacola to Pensacola Shipyards because the workers weren’t U.S. citizens. We didn’t hear that they were illegals.

The PNJ has told us how the cleanup can be good for our economy—-not if the workers aren’t from here. [BP Lie # 74]
