Oil Sheen Off Navarre

From Santa Rosa County PIO Joy Tsubooka:

A light oil sheen was reported by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission approximately six miles from Navarre Pier today.  The Coast Guard has sent a skimmer into the area; however, skimming is not very effective with light sheen.  With the current weather conditions, evaporation is expected to occur prior to the sheen washing to the shore.  If the sheen makes it to shore, sweeping would be necessary.
