Bayfront Parkway Landscaping and Amenity Design Public Meeting
The City of Pensacola will hold a public meeting Tuesday, June 16, at the Pensacola Library, giving residents and visitors the opportunity to learn about the Bayfront Parkway Landscaping Design project.
The project will complement the shared-use path design project, currently underway by the Florida Department of Transportation, by providing a visually appealing and comfortable path for walking and biking. This design project will include the proposed installation of various trees, shrubs, groundcovers and amenities on Bayfront Parkway from South Tarragona Street to North 14th Avenue.
Meeting Date: Tuesday, June 16
Time: 5 p.m.—6:30 p.m.
Location: Pensacola Library, 239 N. Spring St.
The public meeting will be a listening and input session, with participants providing feedback on the project’s conceptual design. Attendees will have the opportunity to share their ideas and help create a more connected city through the landscape and design of the future shared-use path.
Input on the design concept will be taken into consideration for the development of the final construction documents, which are expected to be complete by the end of 2026. Project funding will be provided by FDOT following the anticipated summer 2028 completion of the shared-use path.
