Top college baseball teams will play three scrimmages at Blue Wahoos Stadium over three consecutive Saturdays in October. The teams—Florida State, Georgia Tech, Auburn, Alabama, Florida, and Troy—will give fans the largest-ever fall baseball schedule in Pensacola.
Saturday, Oct. 17: Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (Time TBD)
Saturday, Oct. 24: Florida Gators vs. Troy Trojans (Time TBD)
“Ever since we began hosting fall college baseball at Blue Wahoos Stadium in 2024, the fan response has been overwhelmingly positive,” said Blue Wahoos president Jonathan Griffith. “This unprecedented expansion of our NCAA slate helps meet the high demand for our passionate local fans and helps bring new baseball communities to experience Pensacola’s unique environment and fan experience for the first time.”
A third straight year for FSU: This marks the third consecutive year that Florida State’s baseball program has scheduled a fall scrimmage at Blue Wahoos Stadium after playing to sellout crowds against Auburn in 2024 and Mississippi State in 2025.
Familiar and first-time faces:
- Alabama and Troy, fresh off runs to the College World Series, return to Pensacola for the first time since squaring off in a regular season matchup in 2014.
- Auburn, Regional champions and Super Regional hosts in 2026, make their second visit after scrimmaging the Seminoles in fall 2024.
- Florida returns for the first time since playing the first-ever college baseball game at Blue Wahoos Stadium in 2013.
- Georgia Tech will be making their first trip to Pensacola.
Season ticket members get first crack: Blue Wahoos season ticket members will get exclusive early access to purchase tickets for the three scrimmages one week in advance of the general public on-sale dates.
Tickets go on sale to the general public through bluewahoos.com on the following dates:
- Florida State vs. Auburn: Tuesday, Aug. 11 at 9 a.m. CT
- Alabama vs. Georgia Tech: Tuesday, Aug. 18 at 9 a.m. CT
- Florida vs. Troy: Tuesday, Aug. 25 at 9 a.m. CT
