Johnson Beach Pics

Yesterday evening I was out at Johnson Beach taking a few snaps of the oil that had washed up earlier in the day. Workers had cleared much of the high tide line near the main parking area, but had not reached areas further east. It seems the high tide oil pools are beginning to be the norm, particularly with high seas pushing water further up.

Anybody know what the honeycomb bits are that keep washing up?
