Good Luck to the Candidates

Next 12 hours will determine who will have the Republican and Democratic nominations for House District 3. By now, all the candidates are worn out. They’ve been on emotional roller coasters – agonzing over mailers and ads; raising money; knocking on doors; waving at corners and having their lives dissected by people who don’t really know them.

On the Democratic side: it’s the African American community vs. Unions (however, there will be crossovers).

On the Republican side, it’s more complicated

  • Experience vs. Youth
  • Businessmen vs. Politicians
  • Gulf Breeze vs. Pensacola
  • Big Names vs. No Names
  • Local GOP Power Structure vs. RV dealers
  • John Mayer vs. Aqua Teen Hunger Force
