Air tanker decision could be December

Reuters is reporting that the decision on the $40-billion air tanker contract for the Air Force may be delayed until December. This has been going on since 2008.

An Air Force spokesman said the decision between bids from Boeing Co. and EADS will be announced “in the fall,” and possibly as late as Dec. 20.
