What they say

In 1994, Republicans released their “Contract with America.” In 2006, the Democrats pushed a “New Direction for America.” The recently-released “Pledge to America” is the Republican’s plan for how they would run Congress if they were to lead the majority. The Washington Post calculated what words were used most frequently in each of these rallying cries.
