Operations Brownsville clean up deadline

“Brownsville Residents Have Until Thursday to Clean Up”

Residents of the Brownsville area have until Wednesday evening, Feb. 21, to clean their property of garbage and debris and place it on the right-of-way for pick up. Escambia County Department of Environmental Code Enforcement and Road Department will make a final sweep to pick up debris on rights-of-way on Thurs., Feb. 22.

Residents of this area who have not complied with previous notices will be issued a final notice from the Department of Environmental Code Enforcement, will have to make arrangements with ECUA for pick up of their debris, and may be subject to additional disposal fees.

Escambia County has been coordinating with the Escambia County Sheriff’s Department on Operation Brownsville. For more information about the clean up, contact Code Enforcement at 471-6160, and for information about Operation Brownsville contact the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office at 436-9630.
