New online Pensacola encyclopedia

Sure, we all love Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. But what about local issues — history, politics, businesses, civic leaders, etc.? Wouldn’t it be great to have a wiki-style encyclopedia that focuses on the Pensacola area?

Well, now we do: Pensapedia.com. It’s a little rough around the edges right now, but it will grow quickly. Are you knowledgeable about local landmarks? Familiar with the inner workings of inscrutable government budgets? Know the hidden secrets of some prominent, long-dead Pensacolian? Really like the pizza place down the street from your apartment?

Share your wealth of information with the community! Go to Pensapedia and write about whatever you know. If you do consistently good work, you might get upgraded to administrator status.
