Former State champion basketball coach (Woodham High) – Bennie Washington – was arrested last night on drug related charges in Century.
Washington was stopped for speeding. Deputy reported he could smell the odor of pot from the vehicle. When questioned, Washington admitted marijuana was in the car. A search of the vehicle uncovered pot, cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
This is sad.
