ARGO ALERT
Earlier this afternoon, a female was approached from behind in what appeared to be an attempted abduction at or near the Fountains Apartments near campus, but she was able to escape the assailant and no sexual assault occurred. The suspect is a white male wearing a dark shirt, dark knee-length pants and sunglasses.
This is an ongoing investigation. The campus will resume normal operations, but please take extra caution and be aware of your surroundings. Avoid remote areas and walk in groups of two or more if you must be outside.
