College pres turns on former benefactors

The Daily News is reporting that Bob Richburg, former Northwest Florida State College president, has agreed to testify against Ray Sansom and Jay Odom in their grand theft trial scheduled to begin March 21. In exchange for his testimony and two other considerations, all charges will be dropped against Richburg.

Richburg must testify truthfully against Sansom, former Florida Speaker of the House, and Odom, a Okaloosa County developer, with whom he had been charged for conspiring to funnel $6 million in state education funds to build an airplane hangar for Odom.
